Alaska was one of the most life changing places I’ve ever been to, in multiple ways. As soon as you step off the plane you are surrounded by mountains. Rock peppered with trees. Waters ranging from deep greens to the bluest blues. You are small. The primal forces of nature are immense. Alaska is where I felt truly humbled by my surroundings and where I felt a need to capture and share that with others.
Alaska is where I decided I’d be a photographer and dedicate my life to sharing and creating images. All these images were taken around 2003 with a tiny digital point and shoot camera. But they are still some of my most personal and favorite images.
