The Clipper Cabaret was a burlesque and variety show that took place at the California Clipper in Chicago, IL. I photographed the majority of those shows over the course of 5 years. Between acts we utilized the dressing room, which was the coffee shop CC Ferns adjacent to the California Clipper, to do impromptu photoshoots for the performers. This collection showcases 5 years of portraiture, hundreds of performers, finding every unique nook and cranny we could.
