One of the world's great squares. Great restaurants, street performers, and artists converge here day and night. Lenny Kravitz once joined in with some musicians playing just below where I took this picture from. And not pictured but just to the right is the home of the legendary Cafe Du Monde.
Age of Empires
Being on top of a building with binoculars is one of the coolest experiences you can give to a young person.
We'll never be royals
Why did the elephant cross the road?
Shot in Tarangire National Park, Tanzania
Wine and Cheese night
Another collaboration with the wonderful Carolyn Sinon (photographer and stylist extraordinaire). This time we went the wine and cheese route.
The Talking Cure
Promo shot for The Talking Cure, which will be performed in February of 2015 by Idle Muse, a local Jeff award winning theater ensemble.
Jenny
Shot headshots for Chicago playwright Jenny Seidelman. She was wonderful to work with and has some great projects coming up. Though I'm particularly intrigued by a now shelved play about Chicago's Eastland disaster. I hope that play eventually finds a theater willing to perform it.
Lady Annabelle
This is one of my favorite burlesque photos, and one of the earlier images in my portfolio. Shooting burlesque keeps you sharp. It's like shooting sports, but in dimly lit clubs and there are no rules.
I can't see where I'm going!
For this shot I teamed up with fellow photographer and product stylist Carolyn Sinon. She needed some product shots for a project and this was one of the set ups we did. Warby Parker glasses, a map, and a journal. Three things I'll probably need in a few years.
Alas, poor Yorick
Teamed up with burlesque star Deja Sue for some new portraits. Deja Sue has an incredible collection of oddities, including this tiny skull.
