Zombies invaded Andersonville last weekend as part of pH's Zombie Pub Crawl. I was on hand to take costume contest photos and wowza there was some incredible stuff. Zombie Bacon was probably my personal favorite. Check out the gallery of images here.
Jenny
Shot headshots for Chicago playwright Jenny Seidelman. She was wonderful to work with and has some great projects coming up. Though I'm particularly intrigued by a now shelved play about Chicago's Eastland disaster. I hope that play eventually finds a theater willing to perform it.
Lady Annabelle
This is one of my favorite burlesque photos, and one of the earlier images in my portfolio. Shooting burlesque keeps you sharp. It's like shooting sports, but in dimly lit clubs and there are no rules.
I can't see where I'm going!
For this shot I teamed up with fellow photographer and product stylist Carolyn Sinon. She needed some product shots for a project and this was one of the set ups we did. Warby Parker glasses, a map, and a journal. Three things I'll probably need in a few years.
Alas, poor Yorick
Teamed up with burlesque star Deja Sue for some new portraits. Deja Sue has an incredible collection of oddities, including this tiny skull.
Superman make it rain
Wouldn't that be wonderful, Superman flying through the sky dropping $20's on the city? Or is that more of a Batman thing?
And as a special bonus, not only is Harz adept at playing Superman, he can also play the guy Superman beat up.
Sparrow
This sparrow should teach a workshop on posing. That head tilt is perfect.
Froggy
I love frogs. Love love love them.
Do you love the devil? A quiz.
Since quizzes are all the rage right now, what's your score? I got a 9 out of 38.
It's amazing what you see while walking up Bourbon Street in New Orleans.
Sahara Shelter
I took a class over the weekend to learn how to build an oven out of cob. While my hands were covered with mud, I couldn't help but think of my time in the Sahara and this shelter sitting in the middle of nowhere. This little structure provided storage for the Berber's and safety if caught in a sandstorm.
