I rarely do newborn portraits. Truth be told, I've always been nervous around babies. I grew up an only child in a small family, so I never held a sibling or cousin. The fragility of a baby is something that I am terrified of, but also fascinated by. I think that as adults one of the most incredible transformations you can make is to care for something other than yourself. To shepherd and raise another human.
