The Devil's Tower

A month before my friend Mike was set to start basic training in the US Army, we decided to road trip it out west and catch some sights. On this day, we drove from our hotel in Deadwood, South Dakota to just inside of the Wyoming border to see Devils Tower. Mike is not known for his patience, and convincing him to stick around until the sun was right for this photo was a chore. But in the end I think it was worth it.

This is a composite of 50 images with the full size print coming out to around 50 inches by 20 inches at 300ppi. If you're interested in purchasing a print, contact me.

Slightly Spitfire

Had a wonderful portrait session with burlesque star Slightly Spitfire. She has an act that uses some awesome light up isis wings and we decided to shoot with those, throw in a little science (camera tricks), a Lensbaby, and this is what we got. If you dig it, leave me a comment and let me know.

And here are some examples of her costume in action at The Kiss Kiss Cabaret.

Chickens

Had the good fortune of visiting my mom's farm last week and got to play around with her chickens. All and all these ladies turned out to be pretty photogenic. Click on any of the images to view large.

Noah Ginex and the Double Glass Technique

Noah Ginex came in for a Bad Makeup shoot and we managed to get this awesome sequence of images. The rest of his images will be added to the project page soon, so keep your eyes peeled.

Oh, and one other important thing. Noah Ginex's hit puppet show SNORF is closing out it's run tomorrow, Saturday June 28th at 2pm. I'll be on hand taking pictures and I highly recommend checking it out before it closes.
