The culture surrounding the seas is a wondrous thing. Water for me has always represented both a bridge and an obstacle. A boat can bring you to new lands but the passage can be calm and then in an instant treacherous. I love photographing everything from clear blue waters to the wake of a speed boat to the birds to the rusted anchors retired on land.
